Since I'm on the remaking old art train and I recently re-read the Metal Virus saga from the Sonic IDW comic, I wanted to revisit an early art of my doggo!

For this remake, I wanted to apply a lot of what I've learned over the years, both with the shading, lighting and ofc the poses.

This time around Zeta is in Eggman's faceship, and he was looking at his hand just as the infection finally overtook him.

Now that I'm a bit more confident with poses and body language, I can finally have him crushing his own glasses, this time in a vain attempt to make himself less dangerous as he's blind without them, but I doubt the virus would be affected by it.

This time I also wanted the background to match the creepy ambiance, it's dusk, the faceship looks dark because those working on it got accidentally infected, so I wanted to convey how dire it all looks.

All in all, I am quite happy with the results!
