This adopt is based on the Lion Dog of Asia (Shi Shi, Fu, Foo, Komainu, etc.) which is often seen as statuary and iconic for its fiercely protective nature, symbol of prosperity, and luck. This loyal guardian is based on the familiar herding breed called the Rough Collie!
