A commission for my friend who wanted his cutie patootie Sophia

I had the hardest time with the pose for this commission, I ended up seeing this pose on a magazine and thought oh I'll try this one. I don't think I translated the pose as well in 2-D as I imagined. It's cute but once all done it lost the charm in the sketch (or at least I worry so). But I truly loved drawing this oc so hopefully I get another chance to draw her again!

This commission helped fund the surgery for my pug. She had the surgery a couple of days ago. She's healing now, we're awaiting the biopsy news now that they've removed those nasty tumors. She's in great shape but those tumors were so bad...we're hoping for the best but expecting some sad news once they're in. The donations and this commission helped me pay for her bloodwork and EKG, and the surgery ended up being $450 cheaper than the estimate. So donations are still very welcome, but wow this community came together for us and helped us so much, words aren't enough.
