Karen woke up from a surprisingly refreshing sleep...this bed was well worth the extra gold she paid for it. It was only as she sat up and heard the soft musical clinking of coins around her that her mood began to sour. She did not remember going to sleep with the sack full of gold last night; in fact, she specifically remembered putting it in the desk drawer after the thought to bring it to bed occurred to her last night. Seems she had gotten it in her sleep and made herself a comfy nest of wealth to sleep in.

This was not good...hopefully this didn't mean what she thought...she didn't want to use the last of her Azuchroma till she found a new source...but she may not have a choice now. She would have to focus on that now and put off growing her horde with more mercenary work.

Who knew gold coins were such great sleep aids? Dragons might be onto something.
