like - i hate that the Pheonix RM4 was going to go back to the pre-RM1 plot idea of "the game knows its a game"/"computer virus"-type shit. i dont like that i want my aliens to be aliens damnit. and not sure how i feel about something ~pretending~ to be Mr.Dark. i think it'd honestly be more fun if this guy just IS Mr.Dark. its just his true undisgusied form. plus plus PLUS--- this bastard is meant to be Dark Rayman from Arena/M, and hoenstly itd kinda be funny if Mr.Dark badly disguised himself just to join a random contest some glade inhabitants were in only because he wanted to (at least try to) beat Rayman at something i-. thats some Bowser ass shit right there and its such a Glade inhabitant thing to do fr.

in other news, i think the fandom would've taken Ramon better overall if this absolutly violently 2000s .exe anime Hyper-Dark King Overlord McBadass face bastard existed, with Rayman himself being just as rediculously badass while fighting him in... really any major form prior to CLH airing. Like, to assositate Rayman with this kinda of edge in a notably way, even if the break with the Ubiart Era between, still would've lessened the blow me thinks. because Rayman MORE than has the potential to be over-the-top edgy angsty epic as fuck. but he's not been given the chance to stretch his (metaphorical) legs, so the one time he did (CLH), it felt like too much to a lot of people.
this poor bastard and his series have just been so mishandled for so long, and the more i learn abt him and his past and what he couldve been the more it hurts. kjhflkjahfldkshl

anyways i like this thingy, and I'm hijacking him as my undisguised Mr.Dark design. im probably gonna tweak a few more thing along the way but this is a very good starting point (mainly since i REALLY didnt know what i wanted to do for Mr.Dark's real face other than make him a thingamajig.) i love the hybrid turtleneck-cape thing going on. hes got great super-high contrast. im TOTALLY NOT going to make him kiss Rayman and Simohne. (if only because idk how to make thingys smooch - they got too much boop)
