In this set of pictures I am showing off the range of control that I am able to have with this model of torch.
It is a Prentiss Wabers "PreWay" Model S-45 made in the 1930's - 1940's.
This torch is nearing 100 years old and it still works very well.
In the first picture the view can see that the needle valve of the gasoline supply is open to its fullest allowing a large roaring flame to expel out of the mouth of the torch.
The other adjustments are much less voluminous in flame, but still quite capable of producing a good heat. The slightest adjustment allows a small flame which is good for when you don't require as much heat as a full or medium blast.
