Visiting Fort Moore - Willys M38A1?

I probably should've taken the picture from at least the side or something. Not a lot to really go off of here. Pretty sure those are SS.10 or SS.11 missiles, given the dimensions and overall appearance.
I can't really give a lot info-wise. Most likely the Army was wanting to see what could fit on a jeep. The M38A1 had a few variants that were modified to carry 106mm recoilless rifles, as well as the Davy Crockett nuclear recoilless smoothbore gun (of which I will now call the "atomic watermelon launcher", because apparently "atomic watermelon" is an actual nickname soldiers used when referring to the warheads). So it wouldn't be unreasonable to believe that there was some discussion of modifying the vehicle to carry an ATGM array. Now, whether or not more than one had ever been built is another story entirely; I've only seen this one example, and google searches only give me one or two similar vehicles. Which leads me to wonder if this was simply just a one-off or if there WERE several small batches made that were eventually reconverted to standard M38A1s. I will likely never know truly because I have no guarantee of seeing another one of these outside of Fort Moore/Fort Benning.
Been a hot minute. Brain's been trying to get adjusted to spring time. Probably by the time I get around to the Ontos it will have already been September, since Spring and Summer here just...disappear the moment you acknowledge it's that time of year.
Anyways, enjoy missile jeep. Cheers!

I want one of these because nothing says "get off my fucking tail you tailgater" like a missile that suddenly aims at the tailgater
