Something personal, for once. I need to do this more often again... felt good.
Learning to channel my anxious energy into art is something I don't really do anymore. Instead, I usually just stress and stress and stress until I'm unable to do well... anything.
I'd like to revisit this concept again, as this was done partially as a test for a more complex piece I have in mind.

Huh. I'm not sure I "get" it, but there's definitely a lot of emotion in it. The most I can tell is that red sludge seems hard to move about it, very abrasive, so it denotes some form of struggle; while red is often associated as a violent or angry color. Though that's just all speculation on my part. Overall, it's a pretty cool piece: I just wish I had a better knack for decoding these sorts of things.
What snide comment are you talking about?
Are you talking about the one that isn't all mopey and me expressing that I know how he feels and all that shit? The one that might help him, or other people smile and chuckle a bit?
Grow up, kid. Stop being so sensitive. If you can't you may want to stay off the internet.

For one, Squeedge isn't a he...?
For two, someone trying to point out that you may be inappropriate isn't a drama bomb, it's a word of advice. You thought you were being funny, great. The artist has expressed before that she doesn't appreciate that kind of comment on serious artwork. So instead of being funny, you may be bothering her. As she's my friend, i like to show support - say, with a friendly reminder to someone making juvenile comments that such things may not be appreciated.
Where else is one supposed to be sensitive if not in the presence of emotional artwork? Maybe you should try being a little bit more sensitive yourself, and remembering that there's a real person behind the artwork and the text who has been kind enough to bare herself for our artistic appreciation - not stupid jokes.

Be sensitive all you want over the artwork, I don't care. Getting all huffy over a comment on the internet is being over sensitive.
If I'm bothering her (Didn't know.) she can easily censor me. Again, I wouldn't care. I'd walk away. I would've walked away from this, but it's always amusing watching someone get all uppity over something so silly.

You cared enough to respond in order to wait for a response, as ironic as it is that I'm the one responding with an observation of sorts. Face the fact that you're a drama mongerer like the well known stereotype of a furry. You're only perpetuating said stereotype. I hope you move on.
I'm not meaning to attack you, I'm just calling it as I see it. Think of me as Switzerland.
Just remember, you don't have to respond and if you do end up responding with something vaguely derogatory, I won't respond since my point will have been proven.
