starting this weekend, right next to the bedroom in my apartment, some kind of horse / cowboy related event set up and blared some good ol' tunes for some 8-10 hours straight
to be honest, once in a while i did peek out my window in look at all them horseys just prancing around with their riders and kinda just chilling. trying to see the positive side of this, it does make me happy to see all them horses right next to my apartment, and it's not something that happens often at all. In fact i think it's a once-a-year thing
that being said, the non-stop loud music playing next to where i live does push me rather close to a panic attack
it's one thing to be at an event where you know there will be loud music playing and you like being there and can leave for some time to chill out elsewhere
it's another entirely to be at home, exhausted from work, trying to rest and recuperate, and have loud music playing incessantly right next to you. i felt quite stressed to say the least, though i tried to not let it get to me (wore ear plugs for hours and just laid down)
i get that people do this for fun and i totally get it, events like this are super neat and i do love me some horsing around!
sometimes i wish they'd just turn it down or take some breaks inbetween
probably the most stressful time forme during this month, given i've got about 15 other things just squirming in my mind beside this. This was just the cherry on top of it all
