The air between you and him felt tense, heavy, as if it contained the essence of a thunderstorm ready to erupt at a moment’s notice.
You attempted to swallow, though found yourself unable to; the basic functionalities of your very body failing out of pure dread
as you found yourself stuck in a state of flight-or-fright from which there was no escape.
You could hear your own heartbeat, thump, thump, thumping in your chest, its beating audible within your ear as your arteries
held back against the elevated pressure within them. No word slipped past your lips, and though adrenaline was coursing through
your body unhindered, your nostrils barely flared as you took one labored breath after the other; the only other sound echoing
amongst the walls of the large, eloquent council hall being the quiet drip-drip-drip sound of liquid dropping onto the tiled floor.
“As I was saying,” Vhoaranoth started in a detached, almost clinical tone of voice, his back turned towards you while his
eyes glared into the distance. Some may have considered it bold, even foolish to keep oneself thus exposed;
but you knew better, and he knew that you did.
“With some folks, you got to ensure they are made aware of their worth, are reminded of their importance towards the cause.
And in some a case,” his crimson eyes gleamed menacingly as he turned his head in your direction, eyeing the limp body
whose blood still oozed from the glaive attached to his tail, “you are required to weed out those that gravely overestimate their own value.”
You felt yourself trembling involuntarily as he began stepping around you, his domineering aura like an unrelenting static charge
waiting to unleash its thundering fury.
“So, tell me,” he growled, the back of his tail-blade stroking against your frame.
“Are you amongst those who merely bark? Or one of those who may yet bite?”

Enter Vhoaranoth, bearer of grim history and bloodsire of Phernia
As I am revisiting a bunch of my previous lore, I am greatly expanding/altering
character relations and their positions; thus creating a vacuum that Vhoaranoth - to
the dismay of many a person - now fills.
This absolutely badass design was brought to you by
Levo
Thank you so much again! <3
