Keep an eye on your depth of field. You may have meant to do it, I'm not sure, but the closer blocks on the bottom are not in focus. Looks like you could have given up some shutter speed to shrink the aperture a tad and open up that DoF. A nice trick that you might be able to try--not sure Pentax has the feature--would be to turn one of the programmable buttons into a DoF check. I have one of my programmable buttons do that. When I push the button, it closes the aperture to the size it would while taking a shot. It'll make things darker (usually you look through the viewfinder at completely open aperture), but you'll be able to see everything that will be in focus in the shot.

Otherwise, just focus on the closest object to you and so long as your aperture is small enough, you'll probably catch it all.

Hugs... Ya... I'll have to check on that DoF check... I wasn't thinking about it in this shot... Should have... Your right the texture of it would have come off so much better had I gone higher on f-stop... In this instance though I was running over rocks with a friend to get back to our bus before they left us... Was kind of errr Running and Gunning... It was like oooo Block - Blocks... snap... .Run run run... LOL

I've got to check my camera over and see if there is a way to do a DoF Check... Maybe with live view that will allow it to work... Thanks for look'n and for your advice... It's very much appreciated. HUGS!
