Rave in 3..2..1..
The owner of this fox cat hybrid,
ahiru-kitten let me know that the pic I had drawn last year for them had been damaged with water at some point in the year. Oh no!
This was meant to be only a blue pencil sketch, but I felt so bad for the earlier art being ruined that I did this up in color instead for the same price- but the commissioner didn't know that until I presented it to her on Sunday monring at Rainfurrest. The squeal of happiness and surprise was worth it, as well as the huge smile it generated.
This is one of the reasons I do art. To bring a bit of joy and happiness into a person's life.
Oh, and the owner of this pic? She's adorably cute, if not cuter than the cat fox hybrid in this picture.

I love how simple this one is and yet it really stood out due to the circle placement seems that she just jumped out of it as if she really were in a rave party. I really can't praise this one enough.
Part of me as being an artist sharing your table wanted to squeal out these cool secrets to your commissioners, especially when they come by to check in on their pieces, and yet I also knew it was better if you showed it to them yourself.

I like to share art with everyone. I have no secrets to keep. Art is meant to be shared.
You recall the last pic of the con was of Wolfur I believe. He just wanted to ask about head designs and I ended up doing a full commission level sketch along with doodles of head designs, how to use a plastic egg or ping pong ball to draw cross / centerlines on it to help with posing headds, etc. I like doing what I can to teach as well as learn. I do like drawing for an audience.
