This is possibly one of two of the most dramatic moments in Daemon's life. Strictly speaking, at one time they were the greatest of enemies. He knew nothing of her other than that she had slain his parents and many of his people. Years after training to become an investigator and hunter, he learned to recognize demonic taint wherever it hid. Unfortunately, this did not set well when he learned that these many years she was possessed by one of the most powerful of dark spirits. After she was freed, rather than serve as a puppet again, she took her own life. As she was laying in his lap, she told him of the many things she regretted, also warning him not to go looking for the demon as it sought for a means of which to destroy him.

Despite this warning, he knew that he would eventually have to face off against that demon. When he did, it ended one of the most dramatic tales of his age.
