Adventure #7 - Taking Turns
Yosh and Toroth were playing together merrily when the day's lunch decided to come back and haunt them.
TOROTH: *Stomach gurgling* Ooh. *Feels a need to push* Caret day...
YOSH: *Moaning as he hunches over from the cramping in his tummy* I no like carets...
TOROTH: *Feeling his tail beginning to jerk a bit* Uh, I think... *groans* I gotta' go...
YOSH: *Stomach audibly gurlgling as he strains* Me, urr, too...
The duo, knowing of how Zee-Zee taught them how to recognize the pushy feeling by how their tails acted, quickly made their way to the Big Boys' Room.
YOSHI: *Cringing* You go, hurr, egg brother...
TOROTH: *Wobbling and hunching as he clenches his stomach* No, urm, you go... I'll, *grits his teeth* wait...
The two knew the rules. Only one cubby, or hatchy, could be in the Big Boys' Room at a time. However, neither wanted to make the other one wait outside while the other did their business. It wouldn't be fair. Especially if, while one of them was in, the other was unable to hold it any longer.
YOSH: *Teeth chattering as he wobbles about to keep his tail from sticking up* G-g-go, T-T-or-oth... I-el be, ung, fine... *Clenches his fists*
TOROTH: *Wings fluttering as he fights back the urge* You... bro... go... you...
At this time, Yosh lets out a mighty grunt as he is just no longer able to hold back that which wants to come out of him.
YOSH: *Relaxing a bit* I think I pushed...
TOROTH: *Feeling a bit of relief himself* Me, too...
Both Yoshi and Toroth felt sad at how they believed they had failed in their potty training. So, as they typically did, they went to hug one another for comfort. As they did, they focused on soothing the other and, well, lost all focus on holding back anything that had once been contained from the seats of their diapers.
YOSH: *Sighing with relief and happiness* Thank you, brother.
TOROTH: *Nuzzling Yosh as he feels all relaxed and tummy ache free* You're the best.
The two continue to comfort one another until Zee-Zee makes his way to use the Big Boys' Room.
ZEE-ZEE: *Noticing the two snuggling in front of the bathroom with very noticeably full diapers* Uh, *Scratches his head* Do I even want to ask?
Adventure #8 - A Streaking Success
Yosh had done it! He had made it to the potty in time, took of his diaper, and was going wee-wee like a big boy!
YOSH: *Focused on his victory* Hurray! *Admiring the water sound as he let's out what he needs to get out into the toilet* Zee-Zee is going to be so proud of me! *Shivers with excitement* Toroth will be proud, too, as he says he's going to make it today and I made it so he'll definately want to make it and...
As Yosh is giving himself a speech, Oxnard can't help but catch the quacker's voice coming from the open, restroom door.
OXNARD: *Growing a wide grin as he sees Yosh's diaper lying in easy pickens territory on the ground between his legs*
YOSH: ...and my mommy and daddy will be so proud and they'll let me have cake and maybe even stay up late! *Shivers again with excitement* I can watch an extra episode of Jayce and Alex! Ooh-ooh!
By now, Yosh had long since finished peeing in the potty as Oxnard effortlessly snuck up behind the unsuspecting dino-duck.
OXNARD: *Swiping the diaper from between Yosh's legs* Yoink! *Dashes for the door* I got your diaper!
Yosh's eyes widen as he suddenly realizes that, without his diaper, he is completely exposed.
YOSH: *Frantic* OXNARD! *Dashes out the door* Come back here with my diaper!
So focused on not being exposed, Yosh allows himself to run free throughout the daycare in his birthday suit as he gives chase after the Ham-Ham who stole his diaper and is now waving it around like a crinkling streamer.
TOROTH: *Spotting Yosh as he chases after Oxnard* Hey! *Unstraps his diaper* Me, too!
[/i]Toroth runs with his diaper flailing behind Yosh and Oxnard as the trio parade about the daycare. It isn't long before other cubs and hatchies begin to join in and do the same.[/i]
ZEE-ZEE: *Noticing the chaos and knowing good and well how it started* Well, if you can't beat em'... *Pulls down his shorts, removes his pull-up, and begins to wave it around like a banner* Join em'! *Charges after the group* Big boy power!

Well, you may not mean to, but your comment comes off as extremely offensive and hurtful. I don't draw, so any criticisms I may come up with would have no base. I'm just trying to be a playful babyfur, letting my cub side out and playing with the scene I see by commenting on it as a spectator. Now I have to go into adult mode and deal with this along with all the other stuff I've been stressing over lately. I am mainly only able to bring Ozzie out online because its difficult for me to IRL, and you're bashing me about it? That's pretty harsh, and not nice at all. I suppose what Zee Zee said below is out of line too? Not everyone wants to be serious all the time, some of us want to play and have fun. So if you think what I say boarders on creepy, then you may want to distance yourself from other babyfurs. Feelings are very easy to hurt, and you've hurt mine.
For the record, I think the art by Yosh is very cute, much better than anything I can draw. Though I can't really see where Zee Zee is in the panels. I figure he's just off screen or something. Still cute though, as always.

These vignettes are pretty neat, and while the stories are the stronger of the two elements this time around, I really like the development of YOsh here. It's also interesting that often Oxnard is the pure prankster and Nishi is the one who's more.. I dunno, deviously prankish?
I loved Yosh's rambly speech-- very in character and also showed all the things that are important to him. And poor Zee-Zee, he just has unlucky timing with the pair lately. XD

Thanks, egg brother. *Crinklehugs* I am trying to illustrate a progression of character through the course of the series. This may be the last one as, truly, I think I am out of clever ideas. However, it was fun to explore how Toroth and Yosh went about taking their gradual steps towards being big boys.
As for Zee-Zee, I know he realizes all is not in vain. After all, each time the duo does get that much closer to success.

As for J&A, I've wanted to find a cute way to sneak them into a work and this one was perfect. Have you thought of any new stories for it? Has any inspiration come to go back to writing on it again? It's a great little series that always pops into my head and I can't help but make mention of it when I can. :)

It's so awesome of you to say that, Yosh! *giggles and snuggles* Actually, I've been thinking lately of asking someone talented to draw some pictures for J&A, while I rewrite those old stories (more than ten years old now, can you believe?) and then produce a little book with Lulu, just so as I've got a real book to show to people... ^.^
