I don't know if you're aware of the biblical descriptions of what angels look like.

But these are basically the pony equivalent, and do take that as a compliment. Proper angels are horrifying!

I would be totally down with that. I love reality warping eldritch horrors, and I love that there are some—especially angels and the fair folk—that people usually imagine as being cute and cuddly things.

Well, some of the fair folk might actually look like cute and cuddly things. After all, that's a good way to catch idiots, right ?

Oh yesssss. Wheels of fire covered in eyes, humans/bulls/eagles/lambs covered in eyes too... Heh, the only game with angels to make them look like proper biblical angels was the one where you had to shoot, kick, punch, stab or otherwise maul them to death, Bayonetta. It seems that not a lot of people realize that altough the Necronomicon is full of face melting horrors, the bible is too.
