Album art I was commissioned to do for ShAd0W The Machine Angel's Daylights's End EP. The characters here can be seen in the music video, check it out! Good stuff. You can also grab the album here on iTunes.
This was my first non-Lapfox album artwork. I honestly felt really like, honored that I was chosen to this. Maybe that's a bit silly of me, but I think album art is a really integral part of the overall feel of an album --like the musical equivalent to a photo ID or something. EITHER WAY, I enjoyed doing this and hope to do more album art commissions in the future.

No, I totally get what you mean about album artwork. Have you ever seen the website gigposters.com? It's AMAZING. I dream of doing gig posters someday! It's...the band is ENTRUSTING you to illustrate their sounds. To translate into line and color what they make. It's so cool.
I am such an album art lover...that's why I STILL prefer CDs to MP3s and I'd get vinyls but no vinyl player, sadly. Even more room for art on them. ;)
I LOVE that they're animal masks...and both animals you see at night. I honestly thought this was like, a nocturnal street gang at first, but this is even cooler! Gonna go look it up.
Also, awesome job with the light in the fox's eyes and the stances, and the owl's face, nosebridge (terminology? XP) and beak especially!
