Fuck, I failed at coming up with a back ground for this so I kind of half-assed it. Aside from that... Colored version of my ocelot boy, Loki. Moving line art to scraps.

OMG! His design is soooooo detailed and amazing! And I think this looks just fine without a background since the while really makes the character and perspective stand out. This really makes me want to come up with a super detailed character but I usually try to keep mine a bit simpler since trying to draw all of the little markings the same every time is such a pain! XD

Sometimes simple is better, especially if you don't want to make your wrist weep and cry with agony after you attempt to draw them again xD Usually I try for simple characters too, but lately it just hasn't been happening.
But suppose so--truthfully I think the background is mostly laziness. Probably could make something work but trying to ass myself into doing anything right now is next to impossible //WRIST Q uQ;

Haha. I know what you mean about your wrist hurting after drawing for hours! Though lately for me, mine has just gotten that way from BROWSING for hours! >_< I am so easily distracted and it's so hard to browse everyone else's lovely art and make my own as well. Though at least tonight I got several promising Halloween themed sketches started... now I just have to actually finish them!
I'm awful at coming up with background since I've always focused more on anatomy and character designs. I really want to change that someday though.
