Sounds great. A bit lower pitch than the original, but that certainly doesn't take away from it at all. :)

For practice it's wonderful. The deeper tones give it a bit more feeling than the original, I find. Portrays the lonely feeling of being far from home without being oppressive.
The bass could be a bit more pronounced, but not much more, and I keep getting the feeling that having a triangle of similar instrument over top on some or all of the key notes would add a feeling of hope or wonder to the whole piece.
I personally think that you should take artistic liberties to add tone or character to the piece. Being accurate is good, but don't be afraid to play around. What you have here is really good and I'd love to see where you take it.

Been watching a lot of that lately. I think it might possibly be my favorite of the series but they are all so close it would be hard to say. It's perhaps one of the few crossovers into nerd culture that I have. Its nice :)

The Wolf is a Trekkie! I dance with delight! And nicely done. But all the ST themes seem way too short for my taste...

I'm not familiar with the original tune, but it sounds great :)
