This outfit is sooooo much more sensible than the one they gave her.... she would be dying in the other outfit; I think Namco some how forgot she has fur.
I really like this picture, it's a great outfit idea and I think it keeps alot closer to the feel of her outfit from "SF: Adventures", like something she would actually wear.

Really awesome work with the character and really showing her attitude through her new attire! Really really sexy stuff! And you were really creative with stuff like the footgear and jewelry, keeping a little bit of her classic look to her! Great work! Do more SF stuff! *fav*
I have a question ...
I have seen this outfit appear in works by several different artists, and I would just like to get my facts straight.
Are you, Adam Wan/Zaush, the originator of this alternate uniform design for Krystal, or did you borrow it from someone else?
...awesome work, regardless.

You and "another person"? Does the other person not want to be known?
The reason I ask is, if I choose to use this design, ( I agree, it is much better than what she wore in Assault and Command ), I would like to credit the original creator(s).
I prefer to give credit where credit is due, when I can. =^.-= ~

She looks very confident and self-reliant in this piece, which I feel is what her true personality should've been. The Star Fox games unfortunately have regulated her to the role of damsel in distress or sidekick, which is a shame because she has so much potential to be a far more developed character.
I like the fact that this outfit combines elements of both her life on Dinosaur Planet and her new role as a member of a space mercenary group. Her jewelry and visible tattoos show that she hasn't strayed from her roots, even as she closes one chapter in her life and begins a new one in a very different world than the one she grew up in. The two aspects complement each other and make her into a more dynamic character, whereas the SF: Assault outfit ignores this compromise and instead smothers her previous self.
Sorry for the little semi-lofty rant there, I just consider character development to be a very important part of any story and I hate seeing character potential go to waste. This is very beautifully thought out and drawn. Excellent work.

I personally don't hate the Assault costume and thought she was great in it. This outfit better suits an incidental occasion such as heavy ground work or a return to Sauria (when there's ample time to plan than on the fly like in the game).
However, the footwear leaves something to be desired. I'm not trying to dis or anything. I just don't feel this trumps a costume that didn't suck and when I look at it, all I think is "Lara Krystal".

Before I get hate, I should clarify.
Do I hate this pic? NO
Do I think Krystal should wear this? Only on a special mission.
Who should wear this outfit? Miyu from Star Fox 2.
What's wrong with the boots? They don't make sense as open-toed boots especially on someone obviously ready for combat.
Anything else? Her shirt could be smaller. I think of Krystal as someone with an open spirited opinion who loves her body and showing it.
Is this out fit good? YES. But I don't prefer it over her game outfit.

Okay, I don’t want to sound hateful, & I know I’m 16 years too late, but this outfit sucks. I mean, you think that this is better than the outfit she had in Assault? Hate to break it to you, but it isn’t. I mean, at least the one she had on in Assault made her feel warmer, even if it was the same color as her fur. The open-toe shoes & shorts don’t look like anything a mercenary would wear, & I don’t think she was tribal to begin with. I know that a lot of people have gushed over this outfit, but I’m not, because it’s, in my eyes, NOT better than the outfit she had in Assault.
