I intended this to be a quick simple pinup piece. That didn't happen, I have problems with simple. It was still quick for me though, under a week from sketch to finish.
Shot with camera so lost a lot detail. Will repost when I get a proper scan. She will be in the MFF art show.
Four years younger than her sister Kesharaexa, Natta took after their mother, a Bengal and was quite petite as far as tigers go but also inherited her mothers magic abilities. Kesh on the other hand, outweighed her by almost a hundred pounds, getting that from their father who was of Siberian stock. Their father started training Kesh in the warrior arts almost as soon as she could grip a sword.
At nattas birth, her mother sensed instantly that she had magic talent, a very strong one, and likewise started teaching her of the mystic arts as soon as she could speak.
By age 14, she was performing magics flawlessly that her mother wouldn't even attempt. At 16, enough money had been saved to send her to a master Enchanter for greater training.
Then everything changed with the murder of their parents….

Defenitely better quality than the last. I love the way you captured her form, it gives off a very convincing illusion of depth. One thing that bothers me is her breast, it looks like it attaches itself too much to the top of the chest instead of the normal 'comma' shape that it usually follows. Although I'm still a student so I might be blathering nonsense. Still, gorgeous work, I'm amazed that this was done with coloured pencils.
Thank you, but please allow to think differently. :) Your technique and eye for realism is something special that I really do admire myself. I think I see what you're talking about, but I think your ability to capture emotions is higher than what you might think yourself. :)

Wow. It's a beautiful with so much detail in the character. I love the fur lining and the elegant body anatomy. The scenery is also detailed just as well. It has just enough empty space to make the art pop out, but not only that. It also can double as a Wallpaper for your desktop which is just a purrrrrrfect. The color isn't too bright. Plenty of icon space and it's a wonderful picture. An added plus if you love tigers and other big cats.

She is a character in a novel I have outlined and although I may never find time to finish a novel length story, I have one chapter (somewhere in the middle of the story) nearly completed and she is one of the two main characters in the chapter which right now would be considered of novella length in itself. I hopefully will finish up the chapter this year and post it. It'd shed some light on what she is about.
"Exudes confidence and strength (I'd be putty to her paw)" That is, or was her talent but that changes at the end of the chapter. :)
