Wanna know why I'm unhappy?
My wipers have not worked in two weeks. I'm late to my two appointments today because I safely pulled over due to not being able to see last night, PLUS I was fucking tired. I got paid $119 last week, I can't take a week off just to get my wipers fixed, I have to constantly deal with bad drivers daily who neglect to remember that my 78,000 pound truck is kinda hard to stop. My pay week is over TODAY and if I don't turn in this load by 4 PM, which requires illegal driving, I will have ANOTHER bad pay week. My company forgot that I wanted to stop in Chicago this weekend so I could go to the furcon, I still have a $238 ticket to pay that I can't really afford, and I'm low on DEF. 2.5 gallons alone is $14. I need about 16 gallons.

Oh fuck off, dude. It may or may not have been his fault, but as a fellow truck driver, sometimes the DOT just gets a hateboner going and writes you up for whatever. It's happened to me more than once and I have a safe driving award from my company.

i'm pretty sure gay people have a harder time facing each day because of the atrocities that society has made in the face of gay people. "One man, On woman." I might not be gay, but I still think that is complete and utter bullshit.

I dont think he means happy, that just seems all to simplistic, and if he does say he meant happy that means he's a troll, and we've all be trollalalaled, which I suspect we have. I digress, dont think he means happy, and I think you might be going a bit to in depth with that. the world isn't out to get gays, I have several gay friends, I'm bi, one of my friends does get some of the nasty stuff, but he lives dead smack in the center of the bible belt.

Well as a straight person I don't appreciate you quantifying everyone into one group. I'm quite happy all the time, and up until you just mentioned you were gay I had no idea. It seems like you have a little built up animosity towards straight people for whatever reason so stop using peoples sexual preference as a reason to get angry it will achieve nothing
I'm gay, and I say you're full of shit. It's heterophobes like you who give the rest of us a bad name. I have plenty of straight friends who I'm happy to have. People like them, are the ones that support the gay community and the more people we have on our side, the better. Alienating them is a bad fucking idea.
Sorry to stick my nose where it likely doesn't belong, but I'm strongly opinionated here and I definitely don't like how people -- orientation is naught -- throw words around so loosely about others. I want to clear a few things up here.
1) Not all straight people are prejudice 'bastards' that are out to take away your gay rights. Nor are they all moody and grumpy and whatnot. I actually did the majority of my school projects on pro-gay arguments. My brother is gay and I've supported him since day one. Many of us are accepting, open, and willing to defend you. In fact, it's because of the select group of us that you, the minority, are able to marry in some states. While I'm also aware it's because of us that you can't marry in other states, it still stands that some of us are obviously on your side or you would have no rights legally speaking. The majority of people who are against you are the elderly, who are also those that control most of the government because the young tend to not vote and we have a lower population. I can absolutely promise you that once the next couple generations die, and we make way for our newer, more accepting generations, gays will be wholly accepted. Logic says if this generation is this open, our children will be more so from being raised in that environment.
The more people you confront for being grumpy, straight, and whatever else you can pick a bone with, the more you harm your own standing. He who slings dirt has no ground to stand on. If you go around acting so, you're making your words weaker than if you were civil about it, and no one is going to care about you or what you ultimately mean regardless of intentions. Not only that, but it makes you so hypocritical. How can you sling words at straight people about them not approving of you? If you don't approve of someone, let them be. This is the internet and no one is forcing you to talk to them.
2) You don't represent 'the whole of your people,' but I guarantee that there are going to be straight people who read your comments and think that all homosexuals are like you. They're going to take your actions and say, 'Well, I told you so, look at him/her' and then you have another person against you. Wouldn't it be better to carry yourself cordially and prove people wrong? I don't understand how acting a fool strengthens your position. Being a jerk never made anyone more right. It only makes you a jerk.

i agree with fleki, i'm perfectly happy dating a male while myself being a female. the other day my boyfriends gay uncle called crying because his partner screamed at him for not having dinner ready and beat him...he's not a happy gay :3 point proven. happiness is dependant on the person and has nothing to do with ones sexual orientation. i know a lot of gay people, men and woman, i support the gay community, and...duh duh duh not all of them are happy. there are these people called...EMO and yes some of them are gay. happy is an emotion shared by everyone, just as unhappy is. it does not affect you do to your sexuality.

A normal person (in normal I mean me, because "normal" is relative" I wouldn't care about what sex, skin color or opinion. I care about the personality of person.
his/her private manners doesn't concern me, it's a choice made by the person and I don't have the authority to interfere with his/her private meaning.
Treat the person without thinking about sex/skincolor/opinion and maybe people could get along just fine.
This is a typical problem everyone have, because they put feelings or opinion about the counterparty private matters.

I don't have a Cintiq but I do have a tablet laptop with wacom pen digitizer and I have no lag what so ever. I do find that actual line drawing is somewhat cumbersome drawing them on the screen compared to paper but the ability to erase makes what little difference there is moot. I have a regular Intuos and it gets used more than the tablet laptop simply because it is there and ready at a moment's notice but for actual sketching I'd rather use the tablet laptop or paper. I find once you are to the coloring and filters stage, neither is better in my opinion.
If I were in a production situation, a Cintiq might, and I say might be worth the expense compared to a regular Wacom tablet. As it is, a used Motion Computing LE1700 tablet laptop that I paid $400 for might be worth it simply because it's a snazzy little laptop. $2000+ for a screen digitizer Cintiq really isn't worth the money in my opinion but I don't make a living from my art either.

Also just out of curiosity... How much did that tablet cost? I REALLY love the fact that it has a display on the touch screen so you dont have to look at your computer screen while you draw on a tablet on your lap.. its kinda weird for me still

Im telling you this as a watcher that myself had seen quite a few pics taken down by FA because of this and that.

If I didn't like your art so much. i would totally call you a cheater face.... for using a Cintique... MOSTLY CAUSE I'M JEALOUS XD Good Christ what I wouldn't give for one of those. I can imagine I would probably be a bit better if I could get my hands on such a nice little tool like the one you has there.
