Thank you all SO MUCH who donated or bought something! In total, it were 39 awesome donors, and 12 orders.

I sent the money to the Charity today in the name of you all. I will of course post more updates here. :)
Amount raised (donations & orders):
992 € - which of course I rounded up so we have the amazing amount of
1.000 € to help the cats! (~ $1.300) :D
Also, as promised - one donor name was randomly drawn by lot - and the lucky one was:

Again, thank you all so much for your help! You helped saving some lives and giving the cats a chance for a better life!

My wish is to send the animal welfare „Sieben-Katzenleben e.V.“ I support a huge donation on Christmas! :) So I am offering a Charity Special this December. I also have 2 adoption cats there that I support until they find a new home.
1. SALES FOR CHARITY
I will donate 100% of all sales in December to charity of following items:
• Mood Badges & Add-Ons (Standard Sets)
• Birthday Calendars
• Art CDs (single or as set)
• Prints & Portfolios

Please note that this does not count for commissions (including Recolored Mood Badges), because I currently won‘t find the time any more for additional work in December. If I should, I will announce it separately.
2. EXTRA THANK FOR DONORS
If you make a donation (without buying anything), you have the chance to get a digital colored sketch commission from me for free! One donor will be picked randomly on December 25, who gets a digitally colored sketch, of 1 (furry) character, no/simple background, like these examples:

The lucky donor will be picked on December 25. The chances to be picked are not dependent on the amount of your donation (it will be all random). The picture will be done by end of the year 2011.

Yes, absolutely. :) They are a German organization working together with partners in Spain, with different projects like helping the cats on the street, preventing uncontrolled breeding, gettig cats out of those death stations (in Spain), creating foster homes until the cats are being adopted, etc. They send me regular updates on my foster cats, their projects and what the donations were used for, too. :3
My cats came from such an organization too (they're both from Spain). ^^

Thank you so much for doing this, you're really awesome! I actually didn't know you had two foster cats temporarily, what a great idea! If I wasn't traveling so much I could do something like that too *guilt feelings*
I'm trying to do something local up here if I can find the time for PhD stuffs >.< I will tweet your post though, hopefully it will hit some ukfurs and others that are not already reading it, and thereby help spreading the message.

No no no, Shuray & Trisca are my kitties (we adopted them from such an animal welfare organization) - I will never give them away again. :)
I am supporting two foster cats from the animal welfare organization (some of the cats are in Spain, some of them are in Germany). They are sending me regular updates about them.
I didn't find an appropriate word in English, in German we call them "Patenkatze", which means I support them financially, until they find a new home. If the cat is living at your place (foster home), we would call that "Pflegekatze" (means you care about it at your home). I have no idea what the correct words for that would be in English. :3

It's a collection (including sketches, photos, colored artwork, specials like the christmas calendar, etc.).
Yes, the CDs also contain artwork that I never uploaded (number of pictures on each CD varies).
A lot of the pictures also aren't online any more, because I sometimes delete old artwork after a while.
I might add a few high resolution version of older pictures maybe, but please understand that I am
also selling many of the pictures as prints (or they were done for other people, and so aren't meant
to be uploaded in high resolution for public), so I won't give away my high resolution files for $10. :3

As a side note, I have 4 kitties myself. They are ALL rescues. 2 from a frind who found them in a back alley, 1 from a no-kill shelter and a small orange ball from a Country litter. If you love kitties you will donate for this cause! Merry Christmas!
