That's the thing with memes, the only thing that makes them memetic is that they are oft-repeated verbatim, and any deviation from the exact wording just makes you seem like you don't know the correct way of saying it, rather than the deconstructionist satire you intended.

not to jump off topic... but from what I know Wyverns cant breath fire... where Dragons can, along with frost and [depending on how far into stuffs and what not] poiseion and just about what ever else floats their boat. and if i remember again, Wyverns can not speak, which the Dragons in Skyrim can, also, Dragons can have two legs and two wings, its not required for them to have four legs. it is how ever required for them to breath fire :P
soo.... they are Dragons ^_^
soo.... they are Dragons ^_^
That makes more sense for Khajiit, honestly (the stealing thing). They do have a reputation as thieves, in large part due to a society that basically runs along the notion that "if someone else can take it, you didn't guard it well enough."
Argonians, as far as I'm aware, don't have that vibe... but are in other ways even more alien to the races of man and mer than Khajiit.

FA is one of the first places memes get ruined because furries depend on garbage internet humor to try to be funny lol, that aside. This one got old SO fast. I literally was sick of it two days after I heard about it.
Worst I've seen is "I used to listen to Skrillex, then I took a Knife Party to the knee". Bleh.

Blotch Try fighting two freaking dragons at one time thats bloody murder at times.
Also with the updates have you fought the reverse flying dragons? With much lag *chuckles* I killed the reverse flying dragon and he still flew around the place. I was like
What the freak?! gimme your freaking soul! Come down here and die already!

Let me guess? This dragon stole your sweet roll?
I use to draw as well as you, then I took an arrow to the knee.
Great, my fur fag of a brother is out fighting dragons and what do I get stuck with? Drawing.
I just got to thinking, maybe I could be an amazing artist but just don't know it yet.
That artist is great at drawing curved lines, CURVED LINES.

You'd be right on that Blotch. When I played the game after renting it from Blockbuster, I played it non-stop for 2-weeks, I basically was addicted to it. I was also planning to make an illustration like this myself, hence my character was a Khajit as well. However I do have to admit that I was disappointed in the race selection of the game. They only have Khajit and Argonians, basically cat's and lizards. I wish the series had more selection of furry characters, more so with Canids. However, that's just me. I plan on writing an email to them and give my opinion on that subject. Hopefully they'll read it.
The Elder Scrolls is not a "furry" series. It's also a series with enough longstanding lore that adding a new playable race is going to make a lot of fans say "what the hell?" And to fit their standards of backstory, they'd have to do an insane amount of writing work to weave the race into everything.
I don't think there's been a new race added to the game since Arena (i.e. the first game). Definitely not since Daggerfall. If the races of men and elves were proliferating and the beast races were not, I could see a point to be made, but as it is... well, it's your place to give them commentary and I do hope they're polite about that much, but A) I think the series is just fine with its current load of races (though I do wish werewolves would make a return, more workable than they were in Morrowind's expansion Bloodmoon), and B) don't hold your breath on them actually going along with this.
The races of Akavir are more likely candidates, but I'm pretty sure none of those are canids. (Tsaesci are serpent-folk, and I think there's tiger-folk there as well.)
Personally, I think the furriest we're likely to get is if they come up with The Elder Scrolls VI: Elsweyr. (Or Black Marsh, for the scalies, but I'm not sure Black Marsh lends itself to so much in the way of overarching plots, whereas the Mane gives Elsweyr some more central authority.)

They did in Morrowind! And because of it, they couldn't wear boots (or, due to the shape of their heads, full helmets), and it was seriously annoying.
The thing about Khajiit is that even in-world, they're a varied race. Suthay-Raht have been the standard since Morrowind, and they're the upright catfolk we've come to know and love; ohmes and, to a lesser degree, ohmes-raht are almost elven with not much in the way of feline character at all; senche and senche-raht are large (very large, in the latter case) quadrupeds.
...There's a lot of detail to be found if one goes digging in the lore. :)

They do and they don't. They have some strange lore and depending on moon cycles they are born looking nearly human and every inbetween to feral cats. Morrowind so far is the only TES game to give them digi legs. Obliv and now Skyrim went with human feet. Sorry to but in, I hope you don't mind ^^
I think that lore predates Oblivion - it might have cropped up to explain the differences between the Khajiit of Arena and Daggerfall, who were mostly humanoid (probably Ohmes or Ohmes-raht) and the more catlike Khajiit of Morrowind and onward (Suthay-raht). There are references to the many forms of Khajiit in books from Morrowind.
But yes, the not-wearing-boots thing was probably dropped because it was the single most obnoxious thing about playing the beast races.

lol yeah they probably did that to make it easier as well since they also did it to the Argonians who are supposed to be digitgrade but weren't in Obliv. But they do have funky birth lore. The older TES games have khajiits as humans with ears and tails. There's a huge TES wiki page about it, I'll dig it up if you'd like to learn more :) http://www.uesp.net/wiki/Lore:Khajiit I think it'd be fun if a game took place there but it'll probably never happen lol.
Oh, forgot the Skyrim cheese wheels!

There's a console command that will add any NPC to the "marriable" Faction. I've heard it can cause some issues, and I haven't tried it myself.
Walk up to the NPC you want to add, bring up the console with the ~ key, click your target NPC and type Addtofaction 19809 1.
I intend to try it on J'zargo if I can ever get my Destruction high enough to do his quest.

Okay, I love your art, I've loved your art for years. But seeing things like this? AWESOME. I know nothing about Skyrim other than it's popular and it's not a modern/future warfare game (to the fans: please, please don't hurt me, I'm really sure I'm missing out on something awesome, it's my loss, okay? I don't mean for my ignorance on the video game to be an insult to anyone), so the inspiration behind this is kind of lost on me, but an action battle scene from you guys is so, so fantastic. I love your yiff, don't get me wrong, but I adore seeing more variety from you two. It's just so much talent combined that I love seeing it explored and utilized in different ways.
Goddamn this is amazing as always ladies, Love it. I play as a khajiit too, which makes it extra cool (Though I don't play with an Axe+Shield I usually run around with a sword (Blades Sword to be exact) in one hand and a destruction spell like Flames or Shock in the other)
Larry's palette was a bit more saturated though, but true. He was my favorite of the Fab Five back in the day. Keith Parkinson eventually out-shined him until his death a few years back. I always thought Larry would do some awesome anthropomorphics is he ever would get into it, but alas, wasnt to be. Good thing we have Blotch. ^.^
I know right!? I can do so much more damage with my fists... er, claws, than with conventional weapons! What was it again? Well, to give you some perspective, I can 5-hit frost trolls, and ALMOST one hit Ice Wolves (Which I hate doing). I'm sure you can do much the same, hehe!
...God. I have spent so many hours on Skyrim so far.

Oh Hell. The enchantments, YES! I have gotten my enchantment skill level up t0 78 (ALMOST 80!) and have enchanted both a ring and my steel plate gauntlets to do an additional 10 points of unarmed damage each. I have also upgraded quite a few perks to allow me to have a much higher armor rating, and to allow me to convert my armor rating into damage. Shields are something that I sadly don't use too often. Normally, I use a healing spell, or a summon spell, though, so I guess it SORT OF makes up for it. I don't know. ANYWAY...
God; something that can't help dragons anymore!

Ohhhh, what a MAJESTIC piece. =O
Pics THIS are why I wish Argonians and Khajiit were still digigrade, like they were in Morrowind. Oblivion totally ruined that. >_<;; Facially and body-wise, both look MUCH better now in Skyrim, but ... still miss the digigrade leg design. They still look too much like human actors dressed up AS beastly-looking races, rather than believably looking like what they're supposed to. Ah well. I USE MY IMAGINATION! XD

^^ I've encountered a couple of minor glitch gripes (Typical Bethesda Game glitches), But I'm sure those'll be ironed out in either an update; or when DLC is developed ^^
Dual-wielding is a freaking BLAST ^^ And the Critical Kills you get can doing it can be downright MEAN XD
<Takes his twin Scimitars; slashing his foe in the gut. His foe staggers, falling to his knees. Kage gingerly places his crossed blades on the unfortunate sap's shoulders; decapitating him with a swift, scissor-like motion> >.< WIN XD
Current Goal: Critical Kill while Dual-wielding Pickaxes XD

I admit that the first thing i thought of was that stupid Dragonborn race crom DnD. Go 3.5!
Think i am going to pass on skyrim until the GotY version comes out. Game sounds like it isnt TES anymore from what i have read and watched. And i am sure there willbe a bunch of expansions too, so i can save money that way. And by then, i hope there will better PC support.

Suppose I should comment on the peice too :p
I just love how the background is just as detailed as the foreground. Thats what always drawn me to anything Tess or Teagan related. So many other artists just sorta ignore that the background is even there, let alone produce something so vivid and detailed that one could imagine is full of hidden life.
Now lets hope there is a sequel with the khajit performing a dragon shout of some kind. Something that will just utterly overpower the dragon.

Wow, your normal work is awesome and you really put alot of effort into this piece. Magnificent.
I also like it 10% more because it's a Lynx. I'm biased, so sue :). Last thing I expected in game was Khajiits to be Lynx's. So I might have squeed a little bit, in game and at this picture :).

This is the best Skyrim art I've seen so far, and it is amazing. Then again, what work do you post here doesn't fall under that description? I rented it first, having not really gotten into oblivion, and now I want Skyrim for my own. I've currently got a dual wielding Khajiit with a backup bow, and let me tell you, it is so fun going to a bandit camp at night and picking them off one by one with a bow at range before they even know you're there, and dual wielding leads to some massive damage. Of course the dragon fights are epic too. Man, there is just so much to do in that game, and it is so beautiful to look at. And so is this, capturing one of the games iconic moments in amazing detail.

I bought Daggerfall when it came out. I bought morrowind, I bought Oblivion, I even bought Redgaurd and Battlespire. When I heard Skyrim being announced I was excited beyond words. I watched the trailer, and then proceeded to uninstall all of my ES games, delete my saves and files, and give away my discs. I was so upset at what they said in that trailer - From what I saw all the dragons were supposed to be evil and, perhaps I heard what they said wrong, that humanity was always fighting them. Weren't the Empire revered them as sacred or was that just myths and in-game fairy tales?
And the dragonborn thing - why call it that, if the only thing you do with dragons in this is kill them? Aren't there any good ones in the game at all?

Hmmm.. I have two flaws to point out. The first is, in my opinion, a real flaw, while the second is just an observation.
Firstly.. Your Khajiit's right hand looks a bit off.. It may be because of the angle you tried to paint it at, as well as the fact that it is barely squished into the frame, but it looks a bit... How do I say this right... Bad, I guess. It looks slightly misformed, and the angle is awkward.
Secondly, the blood looks quite unnatural, except for the splatter at the top of the axe head. This isn't really a flaw, because blood is quite hard to do, and it still looks nice as it is. I just thought it was worth pointing out.
Overall, I like this picture though :3
VERY well done bit of art.
Good job on this.

I showed this picture to my Dad, who has a background in art. He said he really liked the detail and placement, but had two criticisms. First, he said the dragon looked more like a snake than a dragon. Second, and I found this interesting, he said that the foreground picture wasn't illuminated enough. I said that maybe the artists were just being realistic, but he said that's a general rule for good art. I now do notice that it is a bit back-lit, but perhaps that was done to show the translucent wing membrane, and since the light source is in the direction of the dragon's back, now the catman's face and legs are adequately lit.
I'm not sure whether or not I agree with my Dad, but I only took one class in College on art and artists, and what he said was certainly food for thought.

That looks quite a bit like the Khajiit Khajro that follows me around. :) Then again when comes to dragons my horse Shadowmere is the one taking the brunt of the attack... And Khajro is off some where else and only shows up when it's dead... Hmm...
This is awesome. I love this in every way.

I have been playing my main file for over 100 hours, around level 46-48 (cant remember exactly), and have no clue how much of the game I have completed. Just finished the Thieves Guild stuff, probably not even 10% done with what all the game has to offer. Boggles the f*cking mind, right?
Also, incase you beat it already and just want to be able to screw around, there is a exploit involving Fortify Restoration and equipment that has Fotify Alchemy on it, which can allow you to in a sense break the game.
Another one thing of interest is the invisible chest in Dawnstar that is near the right side mine near a tree with 3 rocks in a triangle formation. Also seems to restock every few days also and is there for the taking. ^_^ Great stuff man. Later.

Holy god that detail. Even if I DIDN'T play Skyrim, this would need to be wall-mounted and put in my home. *not that he can do that, so a favorite will have to suffice*
Though I prefer to go in with a Blade's sword; I wish Skyrim would let you perform attacks mid-jump... *cannot be the acrobatic bastard he wants to be without that x.x*

There is a choice at the start that you can have yellow/gold slitted eyes on Khajiit in Skyrim
As well as the fact that "rage" look is due to the eyes being wide open (the sun is behind the dragon, the pupil's natural reaction to filter out excess light comes in, making it slitted for a cat's eye)

Even if this wasn't based off of a game (so to speak) it is still beautiful to see and look at for long periods of time. There is so much you put into your art work like this that, with pieces like this, they are of the top art in the community today. thank you for sharing and please, keep up the good work girls.
One of my top three favorite pieces of art on Deviant Art. Depth, precision, mass, emotion, accuracy, motion; these raise it to truly great art! And a little more, since I found myself unable to play any race but Kahjit, and the crippled, human-footed mutants simply wouldn't do! Digitigrades are the real Khajit! This piece is my mantra for Skyrim. Fus Rho Dah!
