I post this here on suggestion from

"It basically is a computer for 25$. This might be a very interesting item for those a bit tight on cash"
It's just a beta but this year they want to start the production.
I think this could be realy something.
If you want more informations about it, check out this links

For those with bottomless wallets (or purses) they are selling 2 beta boards on e-bay. The prices are going quite high apparently!

Ut oh! It could be a bit longer before I get the Model B.

Although they did change my shipping date to April 3rd and called it "final".
I downloaded the Fedora 14 Remix SD Card OS image (just encase it gets taken down before I get to use it).

This should be very interesting ^____^ I am accustomed to Fedora, so I hope to find and discover lots of functionality. I hear there is an XBOX Media Center OS that can run on this too.

My expected arrival date moved to June 16th. I read posts that some people are getting them already.
I just bought a case for it:

They JUST re-stocked the Pi cases...says there are 13 left.

I got my Pi a few days ago. Installed Debian Squeeze (LXDE Destop) on an SD Card... a 4 GB one and on an 8GB SD Micro (with an adapter).
Had to change the Time Zone from BRT to EST and the Keyboard-layout to US from Europe.
So far, I have only installed the Synaptic Package Manager, added additional repository sources, and installed Gnome-RDP. Debian Squeeze comes with XScreensavers!
I have a few ideas as to what I would like to see the Pi do, but, I am curious as to what other people are doing.
