It would seem that Shai was just out walking, minding her own business, when she encountered a cute but somehow menacing Roofae, who started chanting the words, "Once a roo, always a roo." Shai started to feel a strangely familiar sort of change as her proportions altered, tails merged, paws grew, etc, and she found that, at least around Roofae, it would seem, "Once a roo," was truly the case.
