Fireplaces are nice, takes a lot to get them going like that but well worth it.

I actually cant remember how long it took me. I've been a bit slow these days. ^^: But glad that the result still shows the detail work. :3

I'm glad he offered a pic with Ty. Was cute seeing them have a fun time together. I'm guessing they probably spent a weekend in the mountains. Probably skiing and such during the day and helping keep each other warm at night.

I'm sure I've said it before, but I'm always impressed with how you apply lighting effects from a source (sunlight, interior lighting fixtures, etc.) in the background and how it spreads out in the coloring work from an initially heavily noticable glow to more subtle glow effects on other objects and characters in the foreground (i.e. Kyoko and Ty's pants, hair, red cushion(?) that Ty's leaning on, etc.). The inked lineart looks as solid and smooth as ever, and you did a neat job with the details in the creases/folds for the characters' clothing in relation to their positions and the red cushion as well. I think the colored lineart that you painted on the light-blue and dark-blue striped pattern for Kyoko's pants stands out most for me here. I can't help but wonder if that part of the pic took the most time and effort to get it to look right for you, lol. XD Still, it came out very well from what I'm seeing! :)

As for Kyoko, it's certainly been a while since I've seen her in any pics. Always great to see the lovely gal (be it human form or werecat form) drawn in your style. She (and Ty) look quite content and relaxed in this pic. ^^

Sorry about the hiatus. I've got limited funds right now and the last couple pics I've been able to get are of different characters.

Not to totally derail the comments but I've considered opening some kind of donation pool to help get more art out. Not sure if anyone would be interested (or able) though. Last time I asked for something like that I wound up with about $3 pledged

I'd be interested in that. :) Are you planning to make a journal for that as well? If so, I can try to help spread the word in posting a journal of my own with details regarding that, along with a link to said journal you'd make.

Also, while it's fresh in my mind...I've been thinking for a while about commissioning Barrin for a short, adult rated 2-3 pic series involving one of my characters and your werecat character, once he opens for commissions again. Is that something that you would be okay with and/or interested in? If so, I can note you with the details about what each pic would be like and get your opinions/thoughts from them.

Yeah. I probably would post a journal. It wouldn't just be for Kyoko or monetary donations either. People could propose ideas too.
