I think this turned out pretty great. I do like the desaturated colour scheme you've used; it looks really neat with the soft shading. That hair detail is so awesome. Nice effect with that glowstick thing, also, and how it affects the objects around it with those little streaks of blue light.
Also, about the colours, I don't think they run together that much, or at all, really. It's not exactly hard to see what's what. =/
