I did this while in class when I was in college. LoL. I was a good student.

On an honest note, sometimes when I was trying to focus on what the teacher was saying I would doodle. Helped me concentrate and absorb what was going on, though some teachers would be extremely irritated and think I wasn't paying attention. They always tried to "throw me off" with a question, and stunned them every time I answered it with no trouble. Some were still ass hat enough to tell me to put my stuff away. Let's just say those classes always seemed to have a laggy grade.
