Argh, this has been driving me crazy, why my drawings in Flash have been turning out annoyingly lumpy.
FIGURED IT OUT.
The larger you draw in Flash, RELATIVE TO THE THING YOU'RE DRAWING IN, the smoother your linework will be, and the better the smoothing algorithm will work. If you work in a tiny little symbol, zoomed in or scaled large on the stage, you'll run into these lumpy-line errors that I've been having.
