Combined together two myths the mula sem cabeça (headless mule) and the muladora (Catalonian) which basically have a similar set up. Woman seduces priest and as punishment from God, turns into a mule with either no head that spews fire out the stump or a mule with a woman's head, and then must gallop around a certain number of parishes by Friday morning to change back. (werewolf myth from that same region has a similar set up)

Both also wear either iron or silver (I went with silver) shoes that make a terrible racket as they gallop around making horrible braying noises. (how the headless firespewing version brays, I do not know)

The Brazillian headless mule comes in either a purple or black variety with or without a white cross on the chest. It may also come with a flaming bridle which is somehow wears on its non existent head.

I basically smashed the two together to have the flaming braying head of flame.
