The actual answer to this question, and others regarding the general society and specific cultures of the various counties of the Northlands, will be answered in the Nonus Reports, which will be published within the next couple of months. It was written 200 years before the events of TLoF by Nonus Octavianus, a human scholar that was sent on an information gathering mission to study the culture of the Northlands in 3239. He lived among the beastmen for fifteen years. Reading the Nonus Reports is not necessary to understand the main plotline of the comic.

I like what they are talkin about, but i have to ask something not relevant to the cool sketch (Love your work BTW :D). I read a comic that was probably from a long time ago and im almost definitly sure the comic was drawn by you. It was about a bear going to meat to guys who played sports and the two guys cornered him in a room and made him blow them and let them screw him. I think it was called like shorts or something because one of the reasons they found out he was gay was because he was stealing there shorts or underwear. I just really wanna know the title and where to find it if you can add a link please :( BTW i loved that really small 2 story series, well i call it a series, but it was "Only if you kiss" and "Only if you love me" Something like that. Okay i'll shut up now >.<
