Someday I'm going to get myself down there for a vacation. Sigh.

(I used to wonder about getting a 'roo tattoo, but quite frankly I'm a complete wuss about needles.)

I've yet to have that particular experience m'self, but I have seen footage of other folks getting knocked ass over elbows by a full-sized 'roo. It doesn't look fun.

As a kid I saw a wallaby clobber a classmate on a field trip to Fantasyland amusement park in Gettysburg, PA.

After that, all the rest of us were afraid to go near the critter. Way to Uplift the Race, chump. =P

Hah, really? I've been hanging around with wallabies at a zoo once. They were amazingly friendly and cute. With their little hands and large feet and insanely strong tails.

Damnit, you're making me wanna go there again.

I miss sniffing a roo and being sniffed, hugging a roo, nuzzling them, taking naps with then under the sun, etc... the roo is the most beautiful animal in the world.

I spent 3 months Down Under in 2004. I got several weeks of roo-cuddling out of it.

Red roos are surprisingly soft! But my heart goes mainly to the Kangaroo-Island roos. They are the cutest, friendliest roos out there! I think they'd make great outdoor pets!
