It seems like in many images I have seen in the furry community as well as in real life, I see many skinny girls with very large chests. They have no belly to them, so I wonder what it is that is keeping their posture straight as well as their balance. This, I think, is a particular problem for Vixens, since many seem to draw female foxes with large breasts, maybe too large for their body, and yet they can still run and jump without problems or "pain". However, with huskie/wide girls, I see them with moderate size breasts, both in real life and in the Furry Community ( most of the time ).
I was wondering what would the large breasted Vixen say to her huskie friend when the topic was about their breasts. Would it make more sence if they swapped breast size or maybe body size just to be "even"?
In the end, I found this image kindof amusing. I also found that the vixen's look was very cute. This was done with color pencil and ink.

I have a round physique in general, but friends have often asked me if I have any back problems with my 38E-cup boobs. I probably should, but I have a Polish Ghetto-booty to balance out the front end ^_^ If I was ever put into a proper, strong corset, I could easily serve drinks on the front shelf, and snacks on the back.
Interesting subject indeed, though I think every girl has in their own mind what their preferred proportion up top would be, some would like to be bigger, others smaller.
As for the lack of a pudge belly to go with the breasts, there could be a good set of toned muscles there, with strong back muscles and good supporting abs, weight like that could be supported as well. That and a good fitting bra helps as well.

Interestingly enough, the whole "vixens with huge knockers" thing seems to have cropped up first as humor, then more and more commonly as time went on as a staple in the fandom.
While I can agree as to the unreality of such (goodness knows it certainly wouldn't be possible or even physiologically plausible at /some/ of the sizes and combinations displayed), I can see it done for the comedy factors.
Since the dawn of the modern fandom, as well, vixens have been traditionally portrayed as sexually hyperactive and nigh-unto ravenous. Indeed, the furry slang term "yiff" came from the (supposed) sound a fox makes when mating.
As for the matter of posture, well, I must take that as artistic license. Honestly, while thick, heavy fur would mask definition and clear musculature, the amount needed for some would, again, be physiologically improbable.
I chalk /most/ of these proportions to male fantasy and indeed even some slight childishness (though this is, by my book, not necessarily a /bad/ thing to have.)
Before anyone comments upon my own rather hyper-overendowed character, let it be known her figure is, first and foremost, a parody of the fandom tradition.
Yours in speculation,

It has become the common way to draw many furry characters. It's why, in what few pictures do exist of my character, I describe (and have thankfully had drawn) her with massively strong legs, a sculpted back, and a full six-pack. Fur is the only thing that blunts the definition.
The lack of properly-put-together furry characters is another reason I prefer pictures of women to have either a realistic build, or a well-muscled build. Too many "twigs with huge boobs" out there...

I can happily deal with large, provided there is a physique there to support it (either chubby or well-muscled). I can even deal with huge, again, said same caveat as above. What I have trouble with is nearly stick-like arms and legs, a torso showing no build whatsoever to it, and immense hooters on this.
Logic. I like my furries (unless they're purposefully made in jest) to have some semblance of a physiology.

Mika

Lol! See... I'm one of those girls that's skinny(ish) with D sized boobies. I'm not horridly disproportioned, but I do have awful posture and my back does hurt after a while of standing up straight. I didn't always have big bewbies either. I gained a good 30 pounds then lost quite a bit of it. Unfortunately I didn't loose a whole lot of boob.
Ya know, I've had this subject come up quite often with friends of mine...
We often ponder if these people have some sort of support system embedded in thier spine or something, as it seems there can't be much else there to help hold them up. <.<;
I myself am a big fan of moderate proportioning... I'm not overly obsessed about any particular part of the body (like boobs or ass)...
I perfer how a figure comes together as a whole.
