Dice reminds me of Sheldon from Big Bang Theory. He thinks he's doing well at something but normal people say otherwise and he gets all confused and shit.

I'm curious, how does one pronounce Elkyone?
I'm figuring it's either Elki-one, or Elk-yoni, maybe even Elk-yoon(-e).

It's Ehl-kai-own, ('El' like in 'El Diablo', 'kai' like the name Kai, and 'Own' like...own) emphasis on the 'L' 'ai' and 'own'. It's ancient Greek for 'sea bird'. Most of the names we use in the comic have some additional meaning.

That is also entirely acceptable, I tend to change my emphasis on the middle syllable fairly regularly ('kai' or 'kee').

The dynamite hasn't blown yet XD Poor Dice, I actually feel kinda bad but that's only because I'm aware of everything about him. Still, for Nine's sake I'm glad he gets to prove he's not a total neanderthal to the high and mighty scientist :P
