I love eyebrows. If a man has weird eyebrows or girly eyebrows I'm kinda like 'ew.' His brother is based of Zach Quinto, to give you an idea of my eyebrow love.
LOL oh, it'll be much much longer than that... There's three volumes, Volume 1 will be approximately 150 pages, maybe even more. The entire comic will be many hundreds of pages. It took us three years to write the entire story, so it's going to take a looooot longer for me to draw it all, but I love this story and these characters unhealthy amounts so I'm determined to see it through :D

I must say that, after all these pages, I still find it kind of amusing how Nine brings the only few hues of actual color to the comic. I know he is meant to have green eyes and a darker skin tone than Dice; but it simply adds some amazing contrast between both characters and, to an extent, between the world inside that lab and the outside word. :>
That will become even more evident once you see the world outside the labs. It's a very deliberate contrast too, because Dice's world IS in black and white because he's colourblind (a fact that comes up in the actual comic later), whereas Nine's vision is normal. It wasn't at first deliberate when we wrote it but it became a very helpful metaphor and informed a lot of the artistic choices I made :) Thanks for saying so!
hoy hoy,
just a tip,
in the bottom left panel, you have a directional on your speech bubble, but you don't have the speaker in scene.
the typical convention in similar cases is to remove the directional entirely. this indicates that the speaker isn't present in the current visual focus, and there isn't any confusion.
Love the comic, been a long time follower,
keep up the good work ^_^

As far as the books I've read on comic writing go there's no consensus on any one convention, but I've seen this one used for off-screen speakers a number of times and for me it's always been the most telling or obvious. With the tailess bubbles I find it a little ambiguous unless it's a back and forth conversation in the same panel. ^_^*
As far as convention goes, unless an idea is older than dirt, or natural fact, there's rarely a consensus on any one convention. that's to say, the whole group never agrees on one thing. so that arguments a mute point.
I should have said "a" instead of "the". fallable slip of the tongue; well, finger. XD
Whatever works for ya. ^_^
