I've been thinking about it for a while, and finally did it. Mochi, my personal character, or "fursona" if you will, has been officially redesigned. This is maybe her 4th design change? Each before were subtle changes, but this is a complete overhaul. I feel that this portayal of her fits "me" and who I am more. I like simple, yet complex designs, and I love Earthy tones. I also wanted her to be less human, but still anthro. She can be drawn with either digitigrade or plantigrade legs. However, I know it's a little hard to see, but I kept her same eye colors as before, as sort of an homage to her old design. Right eye is green, while the left eye is blue. I do plan on commissioning a fursuit of her in the future. Critiques and courteous comments are always welcome.

Please don't kill me, but... this new design is very stiff and awkward. I don't like it at all.
The complex patterns are fine, but they don't come together very well. Too many hard edges make her look like a boxy papercraft. The body style lacks any kind of organic lines. It's okay for a model sheet, but I think she would be very difficult to draw in everyday situations unless you do some major changes to the construction and body style. There's just no life in this design.
The hands... do they actually look like that?
I'm sorry to be so negative, but I really think your art has seriously gone downhill over the last couple years. It's nice to try something less toony and more formal, but... the quality here is well below some of your previous work, and even less than the last model sheet from 2011. The design has some issues, but it's your execution that really surprises me.

Don't worry, I'm not going to kill you for sharing with me an honest critique. There's a difference in sharing an honest opinion and being flat out mean. I don't think you fall into the latter at all here. In fact I appreciate honest critiques such as yours, so thank you for sharing it. I can explain a few things that I failed to mention in the description.
As for the line work? Personally, I hate it! Due to my career keeping me busy, I admit to not having a lot of time to spend on digital media artwork as I used to. Though digital may seem like a faster medium for some, for me it actually takes me longer to complete than if I was to work in pencils, ink, and marker. Inking by hand digitally is something I admit to struggling with and strongly feel a need to improve upon. Once I finished the line work, I saw the lifelessness of it too, but finished it anyway to be used as a reference. The hands? No, they don't look like that at all. They were simplified because well, this was a rushed ref sheet. I'm not trying to make excuses, but rather share an honest truth. I appreciate you coming out and sharing your thoughts and opinions on my art, for I feel such critiques are great tools to be used on the road to improvement, so thank you for that. I will keep the things you said in mind as I continue to work on my art.

Actually, I'm in the same boat as you. Anything I do digitally takes at least twice as long, so I do my inking on paper whenever I can. Sketching on the computer is faster, though, so it's a real struggle to get art done. Maybe an investment into a light box would be a good idea.
At any rate, it's good to hear that you actually have a career in art. I wish you luck for squeezing in more time for personal stuff.

I think the old one is so much more lively and well laid out!
The current one isn't terrible... It could just use a few body changes, like the Head/Maine.
I also loved the happy and cute expressions of the old one
The colors of the old one were also very nice and smooth, I think some of them are currently a little clashing, but it's a good ref for starters!
