I've done a lot of reading about countercultures in general and yeah, you're absolutely right. The more I've dug into the history of how the Diggers and the early Beats got together in San Francisco, how the media kinda sniffed their way around them and tried to make sense of them, the more parallels I see. It's neat stuff and makes me think we might be onto something here.
