Explanation on horrible quality below.
So on April Fool's day, Equestria Daily decided to use artwork of mine of the G1 pony, Paradise. I didn't give them permission, AAAAND they digitally removed my watermark, WHICH IS ILLEGAL BTW.
But I honestly didn't really mind, until I thought about it...
They used that artwork NOT because they liked it, but because BRONIES DO NOT LIKE G1 PONIES. APRIL FOOLS! HAHA.
So the use of my artwork was in an ironic, spiteful way.
Which displeases me.
I've always had a nice view of ED. When they once posted one of my artworks with the wrong source, I emailed them and asked them to fix it, and they were awesome about it. But this time I'll admit it. I'm pretty annoyed.
And not only at Equestria Daily, but also at the bronies who supposedly love and tolerate everything, except the older generations of My Little Pony.
There are generations of MLP I'm not fond of (see: G3.5)
But I'm not an asshat about it.
I JUST DON'T BUY THEM. It's really easy to do.
So how about you bronies try a little harder at the "tolerate" half of your slogan. No one is saying you have to love G1's. But you can stop being dicks about the fact that they exist.
NOW AS FOR WHY THIS LOOKS LIKE SHIT.
-I did the sketch and decided to ink it with my awesome manga inking pen. ...when I found it, it was broken. So it is "inked" with pencil.
-My tablet is broken. And I don't have a mouse. So this shit is colored with my laptop touch pad thing. I am never doing that again.
ANYWAY G1 fans enjoy, hateful bronies, go away.
Seriously, like far away.

I do not like the older g1-g3.5 gens, I hate the art style of them and just thought they were all kinda dumb looking.
but I do not think it's right for them for use your stuff in a hateful way or to go out of the way and remove your watermark. I love your art and you actually make the older pony gens enjoyable.
I think you're right in saying some bronies need to actually practice what they preach in the love and tolerate, and I think going around blasting older gens like that is wrong. I'm sorry that happened to you. And I hope to still see g4 art out of you as well as all your other awesome works.

I can understand not liking the older ponies, trust me. x3 They're girly and childish. I mean, they ARE brightly colored ponies, for pete's sake! xD

If you see a giant dog penis in your inbox and you find that sick and perverted and the you're not used to seeing that or something, CLICK X XDD Like seriously? I don't get it, people insist on creating drama by being all "OMAGAWD EW DIS IS HORRID I HATE DIS" like... okay? Great?!

even i felt a little annoyed when i saw your art used in the banner that day. i saw it and thought.. that looks like nyaasu's work.. and eh, i'm one of the few bronies/pegasisters/whatever who gave g1 a shot. it was decent, i watched a few, tho got abit bored 20 episodes or so in :P

Why don't people like the older gens? I mean, seriously, what's not to like at them? They're goofy as flipping heck, the things you can notice whilst watching can get you laughing at the absurdity, things were just stranger back then in those gens... and I kid you not, Tirek from Gen 1 was a badass villain. Like, really violently, viciously, evilly badass. New series? A Q knock-off. While I adore Q...

I love this pic, and I love G1's. Yes the animation was horrible (except for Rescue at Midnight Castle <3) but the ponies themselves? Probably my favorite of the figurines. And the plots, omg they were so good! Perhaps a bit cheesy at times but ah well. They still had villains bent on absolutely destroying the world...several times over! ^^

i dont hate them i dont like them they have there place in time and g1&2 arent terrible they are just different they went by what all childrens programing did in those eras g1 in the 80's and g2' the 90's i have nothing to say about 3 and 3.5. but i only like g4 i myself dont hate them cause they had there place and still do but i dont care for them that a better way to describe it i dont care for them
RIGHT! No one's saying you have to like them, but when you don't like something, the healthiest thing you can do is ignore it.
It's one thing if people are all up in your face like "NO YOU HAVE TO LIKE G1!!" But so far I haven't seen anyone doing that to the G4 fans.

xD i dont ignore them as they were important in this series creation as in an interview with faust herself she said that she based it off the adventures she imagined with her toys as a kid. a true fan like myself can dislike g's1-3.5 and still appreciate them (given i have no idea who would like 3 and 3.5 but to each there own)

...I heard about that. AND that people went to the customs' creators' deviantarts and apparently started harassing them? That's just...I mean seriously, these people are on YOUR SIDE, bronies. THEY LIKE PONIES. Even if the ponies they like look different, you're all on the same side. ...Who picks fights with people who are allies? xD

Omg, you took the words right out of my mouth. A while ago, I posted on my FB something about the fact of it being so hard to find pony collectors anymore who like the G1s. I stated that normally when I find a pony fan, I get someone who says, " I love ponies!!!!...but I don't like the old ones...just the new ones. Well, in that whole message I wrote on my wall, I never once said anything negitive about the G4s. Well, I get on my page the next day, and a brony had written me about me "dissing" MLPFIM....and then trying to give me the history about ponys...I found that part funny, because he knew pretty much nothing..lol. I ignored it, but found it very annoying that he had to write me about something that wasn't said on my page. >___>, and then, while at a con, I attended a hooffur panel, and they got on the subject of MLP. While I was trying to explain my love for nearly every generation of My Little Pony, they seemed to get almost offended when I brought up G1. I was offended when they told me not to talk about them. So yes, some of the talk about G1s are just plain ignorant. It's pretty sad that they judge the origin of the new show so poorly. Honestly, If they look a little further, the ponies from FIM where originally going to be the ponies from G1. And the only reason they didn't proceed to do that, was because they didn't have the rights to the G1's. So, bottom line is EXACTLY what you posted, Bronys really need to practice what they preach...
Yeah, bronies tend to be INCREDIBLY DEFENSIVE of their G4 show, but it seems to be at the expense of everyone else's opinions. xD

Aww, I like the art from G2 a lot, I liked the cartooney eyes they had. But in my collection of the toys, I have the least amount of G2's. I know there weren't that many to begin with though. x3 I have the most of G1 and G3. And my specialty is ponies with food-related symbols, so I love ponies like Munchie and Scrumptious! xD

I didn't email them, because I figured it wasn't a big enough deal at the time (and I'm kind of scared of confrontation). Plus, I figured it'd be gone by the next day, and it was. It's gone now. x3

Honestly this is the sort of thing that anybody with any interests outside FiM should just get used to. There's a group of Bronies out there who will interpret almost anything as a personal attack against them, and they are of course the loudest of the bunch.

(Reminds me, need to see if they ever put the movie on DVD, I think my tape's starting to wear out, the tracking is all over the place... Though if it's not on DVD maybe I can see if they put it on one of those huge shiny record-sized-CD things and have a friend with a player for those copy it to tape for me...)

Yeah, I didn't like the animation for the G3s/G3.5s myself, either, but I have NEVER ripped on them in front of people who happen to like them. That really is just...mean-spirited. -_-
MOST BRONIES that I meet are AWESOME, but there are some out there that make me angry.

Ah bronies...some of them can be such dicks. Kind of makes me dislike being a fan sometimes of the show. I'll admit I don't care that much for the older styles especially the supremely creepy style that came before FiM X(. I have to say however that was pretty mean of them to do to show their dislike of the style. Kind of cracks me up when they go on about the whole matter of love and tolerance X3.

That was really assholish of them, I'd never understand why so many bronies hate on the early MLP generations. After all Lauren Faust was inspired by G1 to make the current series we all love and enjoy, were it not for Twilight, Sparkler, Firefly, Surprise, Applejack and Posey there would be no Twi, Rarity, Rainbow Dash, Fluttershy, Pinkie Pie and AJ to laugh at and cheer on today.
