His name is Kri... And he's a pawtail! :D These things are beyond adorable, if only because I have a single image in my head... When a pawtail gets happy or excited, does its tail wag up and down and smack the floor? XD I just saw these guys and instantly fell in love... So I tried it on! /typicalshifterreaction
So, first thing you should know is that this is not my species. The pawtail cuties belong to
pudgy-mutt and are very special to her. :3 Now, on to what makes Kri himself...
He's pretty scrawny and the pose kind of came out on its own, so I picture the guy pretty skiddish, maybe even cautiously curious. His eyes are also very similar to another character I have that is prone to panic attacks, so that personal image doesn't help and makes him look... Well, wimpy. lol But in a good way. I find him very adorable, so I don't count that as a bad thing. Character flaws are good sometimes. :3 As for a history... I don't know yet, he was just now born. lol ...All I know is I want to grab his tail and wiggle it around. X3

It seems people appear to be rather fond of doing... stuff with.. tails? First I see a million of tailmouth things, then it's pawtails, next there'll be more tail than actual creature...
not that it's a bad thing, it's just kind of amusing. XD Slightly less off-topic, though: did you know that I love the way you draw paws. 8| And crap I want horns like that.
