Alright...
Unfortunately, things don't move as fast as I would like, due to personal stuff, but what the heck. I still managed to overhaul the UI, make a little bit more handy debug system, finish the basics for the NPC/Mob system, change some sound effects, add some music (something old that is mostly placeholder) and add some visual gimmicks.
X : Create an entity.
C : Make all entities move to the pointed spot.
They don't have any sort of intelligent behavior yet, the can just move to a point.
Entities can be attacked with left mouse button held down. (They died when they turn black.)
Entities can be "poked" with right mouse button. No function yet.
Backspace: Show Debug stuff.
Currently mobs are not saved. They will be removed at a certain distance, but they will return as long as the chunk is not unloaded.

Some known bugs:
-Grass often not properly removed. Reason unknown.
-Liquid updates very slowly. Reason known.
-Entities get stuck a lot. Reason known.
-Removing blocks on chunk edge will create holes into void for a moment. Reason known.
-Blocks that get added to a chunk sometimes end up on the other side. Reason known.
-Entities fall through ground when chunk is not in view (They reappear at the top of the chunk, this is wanted behavior). Reason unknown.

I just loaded it up now, it's still a bit hard on the eyes, I think it's that the green of the text is too close a color to the brown of the background, I'm not sure what your using for the shadow on the text, I'm guessing a darker brown? That is also a bit too close to the background for my eyes.
I can read it ok, it's just not pleasant to look at from my color blindy perspective.

i've really got to remember your name better when i tell people your game has become my favorite, and most frequent time gobbler.
(and it has a lot of competition for that honored post too. auran trainz, bahn, and now repainting trainz assets with sai,)
i just happen to have the most horrible memory for remembering names in the universe. for which i deeply and whole heartedly apologize.

Being an addicted Minecraft player and loving to find new mods for it to expand game play I was searching for Mods when this popped up. At first when I read DragonCraft I laughed and thought some Pern fan had made the mod until I saw the FA address and I was like ~cued derp face~ WTF? FA and Minecraft this can't be good. Having just watched a video of Notch (Minecrafts creator) as he worked on code to the latest release and play tested the game. The first image to pop in my head was that video only with some of the more well know FA characters done up in Minecraft block style yiffing on screen in place of the regular game in front on Notch as he screams a long drawn out "NO!" while pulling his hair out. This metal image got laughing so hard I fell out of my chair. As I got up I clicked the link and was happy that it wasn't the way I had imagined it to be. I did download it and for the stage your at in it's development it looks good. The shift speed boost thing could use so major tweaking as it currently goes from normal run to lightspeed in the blink of an eye. You will probably want to adjust the player pos-Z cam on ground height to better represent a dragons field of view while walking. Currently it's hovering around one half to three quarters of a block in height. Minecraft for example the pos-Z cam is about a block and a half for a person and they need a one block wide two block high passage to walk through. I would imagine the block scale in your game is close to or near that of Minecraft so an anthro dragon might use the same 1w by 2h formula but I would think a feral to be along the lines of 3w by 4h but that is just my opinion. You could use Minecrafts Ender Dragon for scale ( Link * http://www.minecraftwiki.net/wiki/Ender_dragon *) but I'm sure how you would load him up in Minecraft without going to the End and when there he never sits still long enough to get a sense of how many blocks he would need to walk down a tunnel. He is constantly flying around and trying to kill you. As far as your Multiplayer options go I'll have to dig around a bit on my other system but I do have some Client/Server source code for a game project I never finished that might be of some use to you.
