A large by-the-hour commission for veyz of her polecat/skink hybrid character, basking in a sunspot in a jungle canopy! This piece was a real delight to paint, I don't often get leafy green commissions. I wish I did more, this was fun and a good exercise!

Oh man, this is beauty beyond words. I can't even express how much I enjoyed watching you paint this. It is worth every penny and I'm so happy you enjoyed painting it. :)
You've captured VeyZ so magnificently I only wish her species was real. I would totally have one as a pet! The fur I can only dream of doing so awesomely, but the way you combined her scales and fur are unbelievable. Look at her! So CUTE! X3
And don't even get me started on the environment! GORGEOUS! So lively with all the little insects. I especially love the dragonfly, the light captured on its wings and how they shine is so dazzling. The sunlight, the trees, THE LEAVES all beautiful! The detail you've put into everything is something to be greatly admired. I feel like listening to the Ferngully soundtrack will just staring at this. I can just hear nature around her. She seems so at peace up there in the canopy. ^^
I thank you greatly and very much for the time and effort you've put into this painting and I'l be enjoying all your art to come in the future. Thank you, thank you, thank you!
