At first I didn't know what I was doing at all, I just knew I wanted my own Hatoful fancharacter. So I spent quite a lot of time trying to find the "perfect" bird. I mean, there's many birds I find overly cute but finding one I could turn into a human being without totally making an ass out of myself was actually quite a challenge. Eventually, I stumbled upon a female northern cardinal and Madder was born. Her design is likely to change, this is nothing but a quick doodle.

• Garance's not too fond of her first name and would prefer being simply called "Madder".
• SHE WILL MOTHER THE SHIT OUT OF YOU. Really. While she's young, Madder likes taking care of people (almost to the point of harrassment).
• She's a pretty good singer and secretly dreams of joining a band. Officially, she wants to be an art teacher.
• Since Cardinal birds eat seeds, berries and insects alike, she's rather plump.
