There is a certain way that sunlight shines on nice mornings; every shaft passing through the air, glinting on beads of dew, sparkling across burbling streams, warming every creature basking in the sun. Especially in meadows, the morning light dances across tree’s leaves, casting faint shadows that move with the breeze. Later in the day, the light would warm the forest, but for now, the cool breeze and the morning sun keep everything just right, the sort of perfection that only nature can bring and few appreciate.
One meadow held more than just woodland creatures and birds. Far less natural than the surroundings, a small male floated several feet off the grass. His yellow fur rippled gently under the breeze, basking in the sunlight that partially covered his figure. Cross-legged and eyes closed, the feline meditated silently, his ears taking in the sound of the birds twittering and the stream burbling in the nearby distance. Although his attention was far elsewhere, some part of him found the setting supremely relaxing, an activity he had not enjoyed in some time now.

I ended up hitting a weird art block partway through this image. I blame the forest. Scenery and I never seem to get along.
