The Voi are a species made directly from universal energy. They seem to take on specific elements, like water seen in the top one, and fire seen in the bottom one. The middle is a basic example, these are much more rare, and are much more dangerous as they can change their forms to counter anything that you do to it. The only real physical part of them is the jaw part. they can make them ethereal in order to go through obstacles. The Voi use them to attack their prey. They vary from one type of Voi to another, but are always painted in some way, and almost indestructible. These creatures do not exactly "eat" they more leech their prey into universal energy to use for themselves. They can only do so if the victim is incapacitated or dead.
