Link and Shadow have three days before the end of the world. And even if they make it that far, their future is still uncertain. Especially when Link starts hearing a third voice...
I'm having fun twisting the game plot into something slightly different. :) Would love to get a comment or two on this, I'd like to know how I'm doing!
A lot of the rest of this has actually been written, I'm just doing some editing. So expect fairly regular updates until the story is done.

"They spoke not only of the temple but of a giant. Or perhaps a god. A guardian that had protected the swamp, but had now been replaced by a monster. And there was a vanished princess. I knew the shape of that story well." Yes you do, Link. Yes. You. Do.
One mistake that threw me off for a moment. You replaced Shadow's name with "Dark" at one point. I'm guessing that was a previous name plan for him?
The very description of the endless room -- which I once thought might represent some part of Link himself, an idea you appear to agree with -- sends shivers down my spine. At the same time, it sounds comfortably familiar. That room is spooky, but also beautiful in an otherworldly way. Just as Link initially found Shadow both unnerving and familiar...dark, but not evil...I find the endless room to be gloomy, yet comforting. Maybe that's the nocturnal lifestyle talking.

Oops! Yeah, Dark Link is what he was called in my previous Link fanfic. This version of the character is different so I wanted to name him something different. :) I'll have to see if I can fix that.
And thank you for your comments, btw. I love getting feedback, especially when people are enjoying my stories. :D
