The much I wish to write something profound to this painting, the more I think it's in the artist's hand, who finds no words for a lively poem, to paint what is coming from the mind.
When all words are restrained to describe the image that was asked for, it is better to say nothing but only contemplate.

This shall reveal your own ideas of an idolatrous love.


This is a large commission for  balorkin for  tybalt_the_friesian as a passionate gift to their 11th anniversary.
It's a 50x60 cm acrylic and ink painting on coated wood, framed in an old frame which I painted and treated beforehand, to fit around.
It was exhibited at the Mephit Mini Con, where I displayed it wrapped up with a red bow at first, so Tybalt was the very first one to unwrap and see it up close. :)
