I had a Corgi toy of a Caddy ambulance in 1/43 scale -- Corgi is a British manufacturer, too. But that was 1964 or something like that. Maybe you didn't use those hatbox behind a truck cab ambulances then. We use the hatbox type in Canada, for better or worse. They're probably better equipped, more practical and maybe cheaper -- but they sure lack in style!
