Yeah, a full map of the first level from the NES Legend of Zelda. This was fun and a little difficult. But all in all it was fun to make.
And yes, I had to remake every sprite here, so this is NOT sprite ripping.
Also you will notice that I have the top and bottom cropped, that's because unlike most people I do not like breaking the 1,280x1,280 limit. But even with the cropping I have most of the map shown, even the item room.

Huh...that's funny, I beat it with my mother. Her and her friends did this thing in college were they sat down with the game, went through, and found everything there was to find; blow up every mountain side, pushed every rock, and burned every tree. As they went they drew out their own map. So, when I got hold of the game, we had a map to go off of. Course, my mother made me find most of the stuff myself, but eh, it was fine by me.
Man, I dunno if you do high-fives or fist bumps, but if I could do one through the screen right now,(without catastrophic results, of course) I'd totally give you one right now for being a badass in gaming. People have their own fave things about Zelda and it's games. What was yours? The items, the adventure itself, the environments, what?
