ok, so this happened yesterday at W40K: Space marine

never played Warhammer 40K: Space marine for so long, we were 4, as usual, in exterminatus mode you join other 3 players against hordes of orcs, 20 waves of them.

if you and your team manage to survive wave 20, warp portals open on the map, chaos daemons and the traitor legions arise from them, bringing havoc, 1 hour and a half we were there fighting those bastards. 1 hour and a half, for a single wave, while others waves took 10 mins each.

dear god. I was one of the last ones to last, who had most points in all of that, was an assault marine with thunder warhammer, it was crazy. Then I died and I had no lifes left, and then the other assault marine fell with me, there were only 2 left

a Tactical marine and a Devastator marine, they were both low level, so didn’t had much of a chance, but managed to hold the line for 30 mins against the chaos marines.

Then the tactical marine eventually fell, since the only chaos marines that were left carried warhammers, they were slow, but hitted hard. I used to take care of those when alive, so as I was dead I couldn’t help.

there were only 2 chaos marines left coming for him

Devastator had no ammo left

Emperor give him strenght we said

so he went right into the middle of these 2 chaos marines with a single knife, managed to pass em up and ran into an ammo refill. He pulled his heavy Bolter and started shooting, again, no ammo left, but there weren’t refills to be recovered anywhere

he took down a chaos marine with the bolter tho.

so there was only one left. he and the chaos marine, knife against warhammer

oh it was amazing to see a brave initiate carry himself against a chaos marine all by himself in single melee combat.

He won. the battle took him over 20 mins.

We all won, it was amazing

in the end we played almost 2 hours in that wave, and considering the other waves…I htink we were playing there for..4 hours total.
