The beginning is, but it strays away from that rather significantly though after the first 20-30 pages or so, at least from what I've so far read. It's mainly a fantasy adventure story. This scene just reminds me of the part where the two main characters (at the time) sneak off from a village party to be alone on a grassy hill under the starlight.
